Privacy

Short version: we collect only what you type into the beta application form, we use it to check your shop and keep the beta confidential, and we do not track you.

What the application collects

We ask for the survey answers because we are starting in Canada and the United States, and they tell us where shops want Signshell next. Answering does not commit us to any country, date or price.

We use these to check that your shop is a real sign shop before we give anyone access, to keep the beta confidential, to write back to you about it and to plan where to go next. Only the people running Signshell can see your application. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. We may turn down an application without saying why.

Where it is stored

Your answers are saved in Cloudflare Workers KV, a database run by Cloudflare, who also host this site. Cloudflare stores it on servers around the world, so we cannot promise a particular country. To limit repeat submissions we keep a short-lived counter tied to a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. It is deleted within a few hours. We do not store your IP address with your signup.

Like any web host, Cloudflare may log requests (for example your IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.

No tracking

This site has no analytics, no advertising scripts, no third-party fonts or embeds, and no cookies. If you pick the dark or light theme with the toggle, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us.

Keeping and deleting your details

We keep your application until you ask us to delete it or [RETENTION: OWNER TO CONFIRM], whichever comes first. If we turn an application down we keep only the shop and email so we can recognise a repeat. We keep the record of your confidentiality confirmation for as long as the agreement could matter, [RETENTION: OWNER TO CONFIRM]. You can ask to see, correct or delete them at any time.

The full policy

This page covers this website and the beta application form only. The privacy policy and terms of service for the Signshell app itself are being finalized and will be published before the app opens to shops.
